Rob Tissera

Whilst attending HDA 2009 we caught up with Rob Tissera to see what he thinks of the event and the hard dance scene. We asked him a few questions relative to HDA and then asked him a couple of random questions as well.

Mitsilee : Hi Rob, this is Mitsilee from examplefm.net
Rob Tissera : Ah, alright OK
Mitsilee : Obviously you run KissDaFunk, How is that going for you ?
Rob Tissera : Its going amazing yeah thankyou very much, We've got some, erm, biggest artists in the world playing there and I mean were trying to do a bigger and better show all the time, we have David Guetta, Eric Morillo, Steve Angelo, we play Matt Luca, everything thats playing big we have it there.
Mitsilee : This is the 6th Annual Dance awards, where can you see hard dance moving on from here ?
Rob Tissera : Eeerrrr, it tends to constantly evolve, at the moment there is people out there who are capable of coming from better production than ever before, you know, so, i just think it should get bigger, better and stronger than before hopefully.
Mitsilee : I mean Rob Tissera is a MASSIVE english DJ. Where do you see yourself going from here ?
Rob Tissera : Eeerrrr, i'm just gonna make more and more music, thats what i'm gonna do, you know.
Mitsilee : So your working more on the production side of things now ?
Rob Tissera : Yeah, Yeah
Mitsilee : Are you producing more than the DJ ing then now ?
Rob Tissera : NO, no, no, more DJ ing than anything else, but, i've got a lot of new productions just about to come out, i've got an album coming out on TIDY, i've done a mix album, so yeah, i've got loads of good stuff coming out.
Mitsilee : So basically how big is the Hard Dance Awards to you ?
Rob Tissera : Its a big british thing, you know, it gives the people a chance to vote for their favourite people, its also a chance for people to get together, have a big party.
Mitsilee : And to see the big BIG DJs ?
Rob Tissera : Yeah, you know, to have a look basically at who's is coming through, so i think its a very impotant thing you know.
Mitsilee : Right, a couple of random questions now, as im sure you've heard everything else during the interviewing. What's your favourite colour ?
Rob Tissera : Erm, Blue or Black actually.
Tom Taylor : Good choice, ha ha ha.
Mitsilee : What's your favourite coloured condom ?
Rob Tissera : Eeerrr, favourite coloured condom, ha ha ha, probably, probably just the clear one i would of thought, ha ha ha.
